the plain terms.

latebloom · byron bay & the northern rivers

these are the plain terms for working with latebloom — tutoring, consultations, and made-to-order creative work. they’re meant to be fair and readable, not a wall of legalese. by booking a session or a commission, you’re agreeing to them.

who you’re dealing with

latebloom is a service of northern rivers i.t. (abn 81 347 012 181), based in the byron bay hinterland, nsw. prices are in australian dollars and include gst where it applies.

booking & payment

a free intro call is just that — no charge, no obligation. for paid sessions and courses, your spot is held once arranged; for made-to-order work, a small deposit books the job and the balance falls due on delivery. we’ll always agree the price before any work starts.

your work is yours

once a commission is paid in full, the finished piece is yours — free to use personally or commercially, however you like. we may keep a copy to show as a sample unless you’d prefer we didn’t; just tell us.

changes & turnaround

a round or two of reasonable changes is included in every commission. a larger change of direction may be quoted separately. most pieces land within a week or two; we’ll give you a realistic timeframe up front and keep you posted.

a note on ai

much of the creative work is made with the help of ai tools, with a human shaping the idea, the taste and the final result. ai-made work can occasionally resemble other work, and individual tool providers set their own terms; we take care, but we can’t guarantee a result is wholly unique. where you need cast-iron originality or particular licensing, tell us and we’ll advise honestly. see also our privacy note on how your material is handled.

what we ask of you

please only give us material — photos, text, briefs — that you own or have the right to use. you’re responsible for how you use the finished work, including any third-party rights in things you supply.

cancellations & refunds

need to reschedule a session? give us a day’s notice where you can and we’ll gladly move it. for commissions, a deposit covers work already begun and isn’t generally refundable once a job is under way — but if something’s gone wrong, we’ll always talk it through and make it right.

the honest small print

tutoring and consultations share knowledge and guidance; they’re general in nature and aren’t a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical or other licensed advice. we put real care into every piece, but we can’t promise specific outcomes — a particular result, ranking, or sale. nothing here limits any rights you have under the australian consumer law.
